Rehabilitation Trainer
Basic Job Duties
Develop and implement rehabilitation activities and curriculum for persons with disabilities who are participants in Vocational, Pre-Vocational, Day Habilitation and/or Adult Day Services. Provide direction and training to consumers; assesses consumers and in collaboration with consumers develops life skill goals.
Education/Training Requirements
High School/GED and prefer experience working with people with disabilities.
Other Requirements
Must be able to communicate respectfully and effectively in both oral and written forms; must have good social and assessment skills; must have the ability to work independently and interact appropriately within the public domain. Must attain/maintain First Aid and CPR certification; must attend Bloodborne Pathogens training annually; must pass background checks.
Employment is conditional upon passing all background checks
POSITION STATUS:
Full-time
SALARY RANGE:
$8.50 to $10.20 per hourEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
