Key Accountabilities:
Act as a role model for Roquette competencies & leadership behaviors. Co-design & deliver local training, communication plans & global initiatives deployment. Collaborate with Regional HR Team to share & adopt best practices, Canada, US, Brazil. Deliver both strategic and tactical HR Leadership, in partnership with leaders, to design and implement people-centered programs that result in highly engaged employees and elevated teams. Administer labor contract and represent management in labor and employee relations. This includes but is not limited to leading JLRC meetings, grievance management, NLRB charges, Union hearings, and preparing for arbitration. Promote a cooperative, business-focused partnership with the BCTGM Union ensuring that represented employees are informed of and aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Ensure thorough investigation and resolution of discrimination complaints, compliance issues, working conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee and applicant appeals. Consult with leaders & advise organization of potential people & labor issues based on new/proposed programs, policies, and initiatives. Oversee and contributes to staffing processes, in partnership with our outsourced recruitment team, including developing local recruitment pipelines for long-term staffing needs. Provide day-to-day partnership, coaching and counseling to management on effective ways to administer HR programs and policies and co-manage employee engagement & retention initiatives. Recommend new approaches, to affect continual improvements in the efficiency of the HR function. Maintain in-depth knowledge of external legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations for manufacturing sites. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field.
Experience:
Strong experience in human & union/labor relations. Excellent influencing & communication skills, ability to build trust and relationships with union leaders & business leaders is essential. Continuous improvement mindset, track record of optimizing work processes, comfortable challenging status quo to re-design for effective and efficient processes. Comfortable handling sensitive and/or confidential material strictly in accordance with company policy and legal requirements. Strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn the operation, functions, and greater Roquette business. Experience in analytical skills, understanding data and using data as a tool for decision-making and problem-solving. Experience developing and executing projects. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with Workday or other HRIS. Highly organized & motivated by diversity of work daily, along with an ability to effectively multi-task with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to deal with ambiguity, change in a dynamic business environment as well as conflict management and mediation skills. Experience in staffing & placing talent for both hourly & salaried positions. Experience in conducting investigations, problem solving, and closure recommendations. Experience coaching, counseling, and supporting employees with various needs.
Specific Requirements:
5-7 years' experience in an HR Business Partner or similar HR role. 5-7 years' experience managing the labor relations function. PHR/SPHR preferred. Travel:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
